Game Design

In our game the player will have to drive their vehicle to school each day, and be able to park their car. They will have to buy there gas and calculate the greenhouse gas emissions that they produce. We will make many new and different challenges throughout the many levels of our game to keep it interesting to the player. So far we have made paper prototyping of our game,and made videos about our game explaining how our game will work. We have yet to make any form of demo for the game.    

Uploading paper prototype

We have uploaded the photos of our paper prototyping, along with the video of our prototyping. We have been working these past few days on each of these projects, along with explaining the many different aspects of our game. We have also had to show how our game shows its links to S.T.E.M.

Paper Prototyping

We are now working on creating our game by paper prototyping. We are working on creating the different levels and sections of our game. We have been working very hard on drawing all the different sections of our game. By drawing and seeing many sections of our game it has showed us alot more of what our game will look like when it is completed. We are very excited to start working more in flash to create our game. 

Globaloria

We have been very busy in Globaloria. We have worked hard on our game ideas, and our game story boards. We have created videos on our game ideas and uploaded them to our profile pages. Everyone is working very hard to get to the point of creating our games. We are all very excited to continue our progress in Globaloria.

This Weeks Accomplishments

This week in Globaloria we finished our bunny game, and uploaded it to our profile page. We also started on videoing many of our brainstorming ideas. We will be working on this next week along with more ideas for our bunny game. We have got many things accomplished this week and hope to keep up the good work next week.

Mini-game finished

Our group has now completed the bunny mini-game. We are currently changing some of the parts of the code to make our game unique. We had a substitue teacher for two days witch slowed our progress, but now we are back on track and contuning our work in Globaloria.

Creating the bunny game

This week in Globaloria we have been working on creating the bunny game. We have been in our groups, working together learning all about flash and the different aspects of creating a game. We all have been enjoying the difficult learning experiance of learning how to make a game.

Still Working

To date we are still working on the wiki, and all the different aspects of Globaloria. We are brainstorming our ideas for our games, and working on first designs for our games. We have made a lot of progress, but we still have along way to go.

Globaloria

We have a accomplished many things in Globaloria class. We now have our teams, and each our us has sights set on the tasks ahead. We are all enjoying everything we are doing, and looking forward to all he different things we can do.  We have been working our way through the wikis, and working on our games.

Choosing a Topic

 Yesterday and today we worked on Choosing A Topic. We have completed playing to learn, and on we are telling about the different games that we liked. We also are telling about what the different games taught us. Now we are starting to decide what our game may be about, and what it might teach.

What we have accomplished in Globaloria

To date this year we have accomplished many different task in Globaloria. We have created Gmail accounts, Blogger profiles, and have set-up our GWHSWiki accounts. We have learned how to do a learning log, and update/edit our different profiles. We created our avatar for each of our accounts. These are just all the basic things that will allow us to do our projects troughout the year. We have also completed the Globaloria Survey, and watched the Globaloria video.

Friday in Science

Well it's finally Friday and we are sitting here in Science class. It's just a couple more hours until we can go home. It's just been a four day week, but it's seemed like a very long week.  It has been a very busy week between keeping up with school and working. We al all working on our blogs and such.
